She is the founding President of the Young Artists Movement on campus, an organization dedicated to fostering a collaborative community for artists on the UC Merced campus. She is passionate about increasing the presence of student art on campus and has been involved in the creation of the first campus mural as well as the reopening of the UCM Art Gallery.
