Anaya Cambridge is a third-year Anthropology major with a minor in Community Research and Service. She is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation and is also a descendant of the Apache and Mexican people. She is a recent transfer student from Merced Community College where she earned two Associate degrees. Currently, she is a member of the Anthropology Society and is the VP of the Native and Indigenous Student Coalition (NISC). She plans to pursue research in Anthropology and is thankful for the guidance that Dr. Robin DeLugan has provided. Ultimately, she plans to attend graduate school were she can further her study of medicinal medicines within Native American communities. She hopes to provide a Native American perspective of traditional healing practices within the field of anthropology.
