Allan Gomez is currently a senior majoring in Management and Business Economics (MBE). He is a stellar student having been recognized on the Chancellor’s Honor List. The ECON/MBE faculty who have had Allan have called him “hard working without self-congratulation”, “kind without the false sincerity of someone hoping to get something from you”, “one of the kindest, smartest, hardworking student who I have ever come across” and “a very respectful, optimistic young man.” Allan has been active in his extracurricular activities. He was a member of the cross-country team for 3 years winning the Director’s All-Academic Team Award. Allan was a founding member of the Pi Lambda Phi fraternity and he currently serves as its director for community service. He is also a member of Business Society. Allan has served as an undergraduate course reader for Introduction of Economics, Intermediate Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Economics of Sports and Economics of Investment. This past summer he worked as a teaching assistant for the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth where he ran his own course section in Macroeconomics.
