Sixth Annual IH Grad Con and Humanities Day

You are invited to join UC Merced's Interdisciplinary Humanities Graduate Group and the Graduate Division for the sixth annual IH Grad Con, April 4-6.

The weekend-event begins with Thursday evening's kick-off networking reception for all conference goers from 4-6 p.m. in SSM 106, the UC Merced Art Gallery. HUmanities Night follows at 7 p.m. at The Partisan, downtown.

Graduate Division's Friday Humanities Day features talks by seasoned humanists from various professions discussing careers available to humanities graduate students from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the California Room. There will be an open-mic night afterward at 7 p.m. at Coffee Bandits, downtown.

The weekend culminates with Saturday's IH Grad Con, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Granite Pass, where graduate and undergraduate students from all over will convene to present their own research projects in various rooms. Dina Gilio-Whitaker will deliver the keynote address from 10-11:15 a.m. in Room 135.
