Western Association of Schools & Colleges
The Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) is responsible for evaluating the quality and effectiveness of collegees and universities offering the baccalaureate degree and above in California, Hawaii, Guam and the Pacific Basin.
As a new institution, UC Merced is currently undergoing the WASC accreditation process. This section of our website is dedicated to providing documents in support of our WASC candidacy, as well as providing enrichment for current and future UC Merced students.
